CHWS is pleased to offer two ways to get support in a group setting: peer support groups, and therapy groups. Peer support groups are open to join at any time during the semester, and do not require an R&R (Recommendation & Referral). Therapy groups require a recommendation or referral from a counselor or medical provider. All groups are facilitated by a member of the counseling staff.

To join a counseling group:

  • Call, stop by, or email CHWS and let us know what group you're interested in!
  • Depending on what group you're interested in, the placement process can be a bit different, but we can talk you through the process.
  • If the group suits your needs, a provider will help you get signed up!
