A Day of Laughter, Memories, and Reconnection!

Attendees of the 80th Anniversary Celebration of Occupational Therapy gathered to celebrate, reminisce, and make new memories. The event was filled with heartfelt conversations, laughter and a genuine sense of connection.

We so appreciate those of you who were able to join our celebration in person! It was fun to hear your stories and to see all the pins added to the OT legacy map. We will be transferring everything from the information sheets into a beautiful logbook that will be displayed along with the map in the OT department. If you took photos at the celebration, we would love to collect and share them - you can place any photos you would like to share in our .

We would still love to hear from anyone that was unable to join us or who missed the chance to put their pin on the map! Our legacy map is designed to show where our alumni have taken their Puget Sound OT degrees around the world with practice, teaching, and service. There are a couple of ways you can add your mark to the map:

  • In-person: You are invited to visit us in person in Weyerhaeuser Hall.
Come place a pin in the map where you have practiced OT, taught OT, or volunteered using your OT skills and then share details for each pin in our logbook.

  • Send us details about where you have taken your OT degree:
Use this link to share your OT journey and we will add your pin(s) to the map and your details to the logbook.

We are so excited to display our legacy map on the walls of Weyerhaeuser Hall, proudly sharing the reach of Puget Sound OT around the world!
