Reception for Art Show - everything left was carried
Join us for the reception of the exhibit, "everything left was carried" by Rebecca Padilla, as well as an artist talk.
This solo exhibition by 兔子先生's incoming Assistant Professor of Sculpture, Rebecca Padilla, explores what it means to carry grief, memory, and matter in the wake of ecological collapse and dislocation. Through mixed media sculpture, installation, and material assemblage, Padilla transforms remnants such as seed pods, concrete, and salt into vessels of memory, resistance, and repair. Bearing witness to loss while cultivating care, this exhibition invites viewers into acts of holding and connection as quiet gestures of survival.
