Candidates who graduate from a CACREP-accredited program and who plan to pursue licensure in Washington State as a mental health counselor (LMHC) or associate (LMHCA) will be granted credit for 50 hours of postgraduate supervision and 500 hours toward postgraduate experience requirements by the Washington Department of Health, per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) . Puget Sound MEd program graduates who complete or have completed their degree after January 13, 2021 are considered graduates of a CACREP-accredited program.
